Understanding our interview process

At Medics.Academy, we aim to provide a transparent and thorough interview process that allows both candidates and our team to get to know each other effectively. Below is a guide to help you prepare and understand what to expect during your interview journey with us. 



1. Initial application screening

Our recruitment team will review your application, focusing on how your skills and experience align with the role requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to proceed to the next stage.

2. Preliminary interview with Human Resources

If shortlisted, you will be invited to a preliminary interview with our Human Resources team, typically conducted by the Chief Cultural Officer. This meeting assesses your fit with our organisational values and culture. It is also an opportunity to learn more about Medics.Academy.

3. Assessment/Assignment (role-dependent)

For specific roles, an assessment or assignment will be required to evaluate your skills in detail. This may include a presentation, task, or discussion relevant to the role.

4. Second interview with the respective department manager

Following a successful first interview, relevant department manager will conduct the second interview. This interview will delve deeper into your professional competencies and past experiences. It will include behavioural questions designed to understand how you approach challenges, solve problems, and demonstrate leadership or teamwork. This stage helps the line manager assess your suitability for the specific responsibilities and tasks involved in the role.

5. Final interview with the CEO

The final stage is a meeting with our CEO. This interview focuses on strategic alignment with Medics.Academy’s vision and goals. It provides an opportunity to discuss your long-term career aspirations and how they align with our growth and development plans. The CEO interview also serves as a platform for you to ask any final questions and gain insights into how our senior leadership team drives the organisation forward

6. Onboarding process

Successful candidates will proceed to the onboarding process, including documentation, policy discussions, and support for smooth integration into Medics.Academy.

To prepare effectively for your interviews at Medics.Academy:

 

  • Research the role and the organisation: Understand our mission, values, and what we do.

  • Provide specific examples to illustrate your experiences and how they relate to the role’s requirements.

  • Practice your answers for common interview questions, especially those related to the role’s key competencies.

  • Ask insightful questions during each interview stage to demonstrate your genuine interest in the role and Medics.Academy.
